The Grizzly Guide & Citizenship Grades
We help students acquire the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to be socially responsible, resilient, and successful.
At Timberline Middle School, we maintain a safe, welcoming environment that supports academic growth as well as overall student well-being. We want students to develop character and citizenship that supports their academic functioning. As such, students are taught school-wide character expectations, outlined by the Grizzly Guide.
The Grizzly Guide states that students are respectful, responsible, resourceful and brave. We teach students these skills and encourage and reinforce this behavior by issuing electronic "pawsitives." These pawsitives can be redeemed for prizes each Friday during lunch at our school store or students may use them to buy a ticket to our monthly Principal's Pawsitive Party. Students are also given Citizenship Grades that reflect their ability to learn and follow the behavioral expectations of the Grizzly Guide. |
